Abstract
In this talk, we will give a big picture of the evolution of the communication systems from 1G to 5G. A state-of-the-art overview of the 5G communications will be given next. We will discuss 5G communications and the impact of 5G on our daily life. In the end, some 5G key enablers will be briefly touched upon.
目前我们已经正式进入5G通信时代。在该报告中,我们将首先回顾第一代移动通信到第五代移动通信的发展历程,简单介绍5G通信的最新研究成果。然后讨论5G通信对我们日常生活工作的影响。最后,我们将介绍5G通信的几个重要技术。
Speaker Bio
Xiaoming Chen (M'16-SM'19) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2006, and M.Sc. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. From 2012 to 2014, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology. From 2014 to 2017, he was an antenna specialist at Qamcom Research & Technology AB, Gothenburg, Sweden. Since 2017, he has been a professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. His research areas include MIMO antennas, over-the-air testing, reverberation chambers, and dirty RF.
陈晓明,西安交通大学电信学部教授、博士生导师。2012年6月获瑞典查尔姆斯理工大学博士学位。随后留校先后担任查尔姆斯理工大学研究助理及博士后。2014年10月加入瑞典Qamcom科技公司。2017年入职西安交通大学,获国家人才项目。研究方向包括:多天线技术、空口测试技术、微波混响室等。
