Speaker Bio:
Zhongmin Jin, PhD, Professor/Doctoral Supervisor. Dean of the Leeds Joint School at Southwest Jiaotong University and Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds. His main research interests include biotribology and biomechanics of natural synovial joints and artificial joint replacements. He has received a number of research grants from Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Engineering Physical Sciences Research Council of the UK (EPSRC). He has published over 340 peer-reviewed scientific papers with an h-index of 41.
靳忠民，西安交通大学博士/博士生导师。西南交通大学利兹学院院长，英国利兹大学访问教授，中国机械工程协会摩擦学分会理事，中华医学会骨科学分会基础组名誉主任委员，中国医师协会骨科医师分会基础组副主任委员，中国生物材料学会骨修复材料与器械分会委员等。主要研究领域包括人体关节的生物力学和生物摩擦学，获得了包括中国国家自然科学基金和英国工程与自然科学基金等多方资助，并荣获了英国机械工程学会Thomas-Stephen奖、国际摩擦学铜奖和中国机械工业科学技术奖二等奖。相关研究成果发表在生物力学与生物摩擦学期刊340余篇，被引用6000余次，h-index为41。
