Speaker Bio

Guangyao Kong, Ph.D., Professor of Xi’an Jiaotong University. He received his doctoral degree from Nankai University in 2011. From 2011 to 2016, he did his postdoctoral training in McArdle laboratory in Cancer Research in University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interest is mainly focused on the pathogenesis and therapy of hematological malignancies. His research will determine the roles of key signaling proteins and transcription factors in normal hematopoiesis and hematopoietic malignancies by creating and analyzing conditional knockout or overexpression of oncogenic or tumor suppressor genes in mice. Over the past few years, his research systematically elucidated the role of RAS proteins in myelodysplastic syndromes/Myeloproliferative neoplasms. His studies have been published in prestigious journals in leukemia/biomedical field, such as Journal of Clinical Investigation, Blood, Leukemia, and Science Advances.

孔光耀,博士、教授、博士生导师。2016年入选西安交通大学青年拔尖人才支持计划和陕西省百人计划青年项目。2011取得南开大学博士学位,2011年至2016年于美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校McArdle癌症研究实验室从事博士后研究工作。主要从事血液肿瘤的发病机制及靶向治疗的研究工作,取得了一系列科研成绩。近年来,共发表SCI论文30余篇,其中以第一作者或共同第一作者在领域内的权威期刊上发表10余篇,如Journal of Clinical Investigation, Blood, Leukemia, Science Advances等。

Abstract

The lecture will review the research progress about the development of myeloid malignancies. Describe the strategies which can be used to treat myeloid malignancies. Some information about the use of genetic mouse model in leukemia research will also be included

 

主要讲述髓系白血病的发生发展机制,并讲述最近研究进展。同时讲述目前治疗髓系白血病的方法和措施研究进展。其中包括讲述一部分小鼠基因编辑模型在科学研究中的应用方法和研究思路。
