On May 10, 2019, the sixth lecture - Judicial Reform and Future Court in the AI Era - of “10 IHabour Lectures on Law” was given by Dr. Peng Heli.
She first raised the question: what is a smart court? Then she gave a systemic introduction about the process, theoretical principles and trends of AI and judicial reform integration, and discussed the application of AI in smart court, the dilemmas in constructing an online court as well as its future.
Amid the development of science and technology as well as the Internet, we are ready to embrace the AI era. The construction of smart courts is the highlight of judicial system reform in this new era, which makes procedures related to registration, adjudication and execution more Internet-connected, more open and smarter.
