Speaker Bio
Prof. Zhang is the Director of Cytogenetics Laboratory at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine and the Director of the Cancer Center at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University. He also serves as the Director of the Clinical Genomics at the Precision Medicine Center of the hospital. He has been involved in the studies of pathogenesis, translational medicine and the molecular diagnosis of human diseases. His research accomplishments have been published on Nature, Nature Genetics, Cell, Lancet, PNAS and other journals. Prof. Zhang is a High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) and the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG). He is also an elected Fellow of American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (FACMG).
张呈生教授，目前担任美国杰克逊实验室基因医学研究所细胞遗传学实验室主任，兼任西安交通大学第一附属医院癌症中心主任及精准医学研究中心临床基因组学实验室主任。长期从事人类疾病的发病机理、转化医学研究及临床分子诊断；学术研究成果发表在 Nature、Nature Genetics、Cell、Lancet、PNAS等学术刊物上；张教授拥有美国医学遗传学和基因组医学 (ABMGG) 及美国生物检验 (ABB) 资格认证委员会颁发的高端临床实验室主任执业证书；张教授也是美国医学遗传学和基因组学科学院 Fellow(FACMG)。
