Speaker Bio
G. K. Ananthasuresh is Professor of Mechanical Engineering and the Dean of the Division of Mechanical Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India. His research interests are in mechanical design, compliant mechanisms, MEMS, topology optimization, biomedical devices, and cell mechanics. Eight of his former students have become academicians, four are entrepreneurs who have founded startups, and many work in the industry.
G. K. Ananthasuresh教授是印度班加罗尔地区印度科学院机械工程教授和机械科学部主任。主要研究方向为机械设计、柔顺机构、MEMS、拓扑优化、生物医学设备和细胞力学。培养的学生中有8人成为了院士，4人是创业家，还有很多人在工业界工作。
