西安交通大学电气工程学院教授,博士生导师。电力设备电气绝缘国家重点实验室固定研究人员。曾获国家技术发明奖二等奖,教育部技术发明一等奖,和教育部科技进步二等奖各1次。出版英文专著1部,中文专著2部、译著1部。发表学术论文374篇,授权中国发明专利60项,实用新型15项,美国发明专利2项。参与制定中国标准8项。担任国际电力开关领域学术组织“电流零点俱乐部”(Current zero club)委员;IEEE系列国际电力开断技术会议“ICEPE-ST”常设国际科学委员会秘书长、委员;国际熔断器及其应用会议国际科学委员会委员;担任国际大电网会议(CIGRE) 的4个工作组委员;担任全国电工合金标准化技术委员会主任委员等4个技术委员会委员。担任SCI源刊中国工程院院刊《Engineering》青年通讯专家和SCI源刊IET《HIGH VOLTAGE》associate editor,担任《电工材料》编辑委员会副主任委员等3个学术期刊编委。
Zhiyuan Liu is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. He is a permanent researcher in the State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation of Power Equipment. He was awarded the National Technical Invention Award's Second Prize, the Technical Invention of the Ministry of Education's First Prize, and the Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Education's Second Prize. He has published one English monograph, two Chinese monographs, one translation, and 374 academic papers; and has been granted 60 Chinese invention patents, 15 utility models, and 2 US invention patents. He has participated in the formulation of 8 Chinese standards. He is a member of the “Current zero club”, an international academic organization in the field of electrical switchgear; and is the secretary general and member of the permanent international scientific committee of “ICEPE-ST”, a series of IEEE international conferences on electrical switching technology. He is a member of the International Scientific Committee of the International Conference on Fuses and Their Applications, a member of four working groups of the International Conference on Large Power Grids (CIGRE), and a member of four technical committees, including the chairman of the National Technical Committee for the Standardization of Electrical Alloys. He is the young correspondent expert of SCI source journal Engineering, associate editor of SCI source journal HIGH VOLTAGE", and the vice-chairman of the editorial board of Electrical Materials".
报告讲述电力真空开关从1920年代在美国加州理工学院诞生以来的百年恢宏历史。报告包括三个方面的内容:电力系统与电力开关、电力真空开关的诞生、以及真空开关如何改变电力系统的未来。该报告一方面介绍电力真空开关技术的发展历程,另一方面突出其中的关键人物,包括世界上第一台真空开关的创始人-美国加州理工学院索伦森教授,世界上第一台真空断路器的发明者-交通大学校友李天和,“中国真空开关之父”-西安交通大学王季梅教授等。最后讨论电力真空开关技术正在改变电力系统的未来:发展高电压等级真空断路器有望减少强温室效应气体SF6的排放、超高压快速真空断路器可以显著提升电力系统暂态稳定性,快速真空开关可实现相控投切以降低电力系统开关操作引起的暂态等。
The report covers the 100-year history of the electric vacuum switch since its birth at Caltech in the 1920s. The report covers three areas - the power system and the power switch, the birth of the power vacuum switch, and how the vacuum switch is changing the future of the power system. The report introduces the development of power vacuum switch technology and focuses on key figures such as Professor Sorensen of Caltech, known as the founder of the world's first vacuum switch; Li Tianhe, the inventor of the world's first vacuum circuit breaker; and Prof. Jimei Wang of Xi'an Jiaotong University, an alumnus of Jiaotong University who is also known as the Father of China's vacuum switch. Finally, how vacuum switchgear technology is changing the future of power systems is discussed. The development of high-voltage vacuum breakers is expected to reduce the emission of SF6, a strong greenhouse gas. Ultra-high voltage fast vacuum breakers significantly improve the transient stability of power systems, and fast vacuum switches can realize phase-controlled switching to reduce transients caused by switching operations in power systems.
