Speaker Bio

Qinghe Du, Ph.D., Professor, Ph.D. supervisor. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2010. He is currently a professor at the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and the deputy director of Shaanxi Smart Networks and Ubiquitous Access Research Center. Engaged in the research of wireless communications and network technologies, he has published more than 100 papers in international technical journals and conferences in recent years. He received the Best Paper Award of China Communications in 2017 and 2020, the IEEE COMCOMAP 2019 Best Paper Award in 2019, and the IEEE / CIC ICCC Best Paper Award in 2021.


杜清河,博士,教授/博士生导师。2010年获得美国Texas A&M University计算机工程专业博士学位。现任西安交通大学信息与通信工程学院教授、陕西省智慧网络与泛在互联工程技术中心副主任。一直从事无线通信及网络技术的研究。近年来发表国际期刊、会议论文100余篇。于2017年、2020年两获《China Communications》期刊最佳论文奖、2019年获IEEE COMCOMAP 2019最佳论文奖、2021年获IEEE/CIC ICCC最佳论文奖。



Abstract

Future user demand for assurance of ubiquitous access and information exchange will yield massive data over wireless networks. In contrast to wired networks, the wireless data carried by the electromagnetic wave disseminates through open space. Consequently, information “flying” over the air can be captured and used in many scenarios, such as low-latency applications, early-stage detection, etc. I thoroughly introduce the definition and features of big data in wireless environments, the vision of wireless big-data application in 5G networks, and its evolution. I also lead the audience to discuss how to use wireless big data over the air to assist in performance improvement of massive wireless IoT access, network anomaly detection, etc. I conclude by sharing my research team’s views on future research directions in this area.


未来无线网络中,用户对于泛在接入与信息交换的需求将产生巨量无线数据。与有线网络不同,电磁波携带的无线数据在开放空间传播。因此,在空中“飞行”的信息可以被捕获并用于许多场景,如低延迟应用、早期检测等。在本次报告中,我们将细致介绍无线大数据的定义和特征,分享无线大数据在5G网络中的应用及其发展前景。然后,我们讨论如何利用无线大数据辅助在大规模无线物联网接入、网络异常检测等方面提高性能。最后,我们分享了我们对该领域未来研究方向的看法。
