Mind Reading from fMRI

从功能磁共振成像中解读大脑

Speaker Bio

Badong Chen received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University in 2008. He is currently a Professor of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Xi'an Jiaotong University. His research interests include machine learning, artificial intelligence, neural engineering, and robotics. He has authored or coauthored over 200 articles in various journals and conference proceedings and won the 2022 Outstanding Paper Award of IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems. Dr. Chen serves (or has served) as an editorial board member of several international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems and IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems. He has been selected as the General Chair of MLSP2022 (the 2022 IEEE International Workshop on Machine Learning for Signal Processing) and has presided over 2 key projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

陈霸东,博士,教授/博士生导师。国家级人才计划入选者;陕西省百人;陕西省中青年科技创新领军人才。主要研究领域:信号处理、机器学习、脑与认知科学启发的人工智能、脑机接口及共融机器人。在国际著名期刊及会议发表学术论文200多篇,15篇论文先后入选“ESI高被引论文。获中国自动化学会自然科学一等奖、陕西省科学技术二等奖、吴文俊人工智能自然科学二等奖、中国自动化学会青年科学家奖等。担任中国认知科学学会理事、IEEE汇刊TNNLSTCDS编委。主持国家自然科学基金重项目2项。


Abstract

With the development of cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience, especially with the fast development of brain imaging technologies such as EEG, MEG, and fMRI, the scientific interpretation of brain-mind has become a research hotspot in the hybrid field of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. This lecture introduces mind reading from fMRI and the most current research progress.

随着认知心理学和认知神经科学的发展,特别伴随着脑电、脑磁以及功能磁共振成像等大脑成像技术的发展,采用科学手段对大脑心智进行解读已成为神经科学和人工智能交叉领域的研究热点。本报告讲述如何从功能磁共振成像中解读大脑及最新研究进展。




Security Towards the Next Generation Vehicular Communication Networks

面向下一代车载通信的网络安全

Speaker Bio

Zhou Su is the dean of the School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. His research interests include IoT security, CPS security, AI security, and wireless network security and optimization. He received the Best Paper Awards of IEEE ICC2020, IEEE BigdataSE2019, IEEE GCCTC 2018, and others. He is an editorial board member of IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Open Journal of Computer Society, and other well-known international journals.

苏洲,西安交通大学电信学部网络空间安全学院院长,主要研究方向包括物联网安全、信息物理融合系统安全、人工智能安全、通信网络优化与安全等。在网络通信安全与优化研究领域IEEE TIFSIEEE TDSCIEEE JSACIEEE/ACM ToN等国际权威期刊文章发表了一系列高水平文章。获得IEEE ICC2020IEEE BigdataSE2019IEEE GCCTC 2018等国际会议最佳论文奖。任 IEEE Internet of Things JournalIEEE Open Journal of Computer Society等国际知名期刊编委。


Abstract

With the rapid development of vehicular networks, connected autonomous vehicles with intelligent vehicular systems can provide passengers with powerful human-machine interaction systems. Passengers can obtain real-time traffic information and use entertainment applications through vehicular networks. However, the establishment of a safe and reliable vehicular network faces a series of challenges. Network security has become a main issue for vehicular network development. This talk introduces novel security issues in vehicular networks and discusses several communication security strategies, such as privacy protection, trust management, and data storage.

随着车载通信网络的高速发展,网联自动驾驶车辆等智能车载系统可为乘客提供强大的人机交互系统,乘客可通过车载通信网络获取包括道路安全信息、娱乐应用等多类信息。然而,如何建立安全可靠的车载通信网络面临一系列网络安全挑战,网络安全已成为车载通信网络发展的基石所在。本报告探讨车载通信网络面临的新型安全问题,并结合用户隐私保护、信任管理和数据存储等方面研讨相应的通信安全保护策略。
